Hi,
I’ve read Mao’s Last Dancer, and I thought that the courage and persistence which you demonstrated was inspirational. The story which you have told is something of a legend, and I congratulate you on all the success that you’ve experienced as a result of your hard work (I can’t wait to see the film adaption!). I was so excited when I first found out that you were coming to address us at the Literature Festival, and I just can’t wait to meet you in person and hear you speak to us about your experiences.
