Andy Griffiths

Andy Griffiths
Andy Griffiths is the author of the wildly popular Just! series of short stories. At an early age Andy discovered a talent for annoying his parents. Since then he has gone on to delight many other people with his silly noises, idiotic questions, stupid comments, bad jokes, pointless stories and inappropriate behaviour.
Keynote title: Swinging on the clothesline (Yr 7)
Workshop title: Swinging on the clothesline (Yr 7)

Andy's workshop covers how to get started, the importance of using small detail, how to show action rather than tell it and how to think laterally to find the genre that best suits the subject. The session is designed for students to start developing a writing folio.
