Andrew Daddo

Andrew Daddo
Andrew Daddo is one of the most exciting new voices for many years in Australian writing for young people. He hit the literary scene in 2001 with his first collection, Sprung!, which became an immediate bestseller and he's hardly stopped since. In his books, Writing in Wet Cement, Creepy Cool, Dog of a Day, Sprung Again! and You're Dropped! Andrew shows that he is a born storyteller.

When he's not writing or playing with his children, Andrew is one of Australia's most popular television personalities, currently appearing as a presenter on The Great Outdoors.

"I've written a book - what next?" (Yr 9)
A thousand new book titles are on sale in Australia every week, so how do you make sure that yours is one of them and that you don't get flattened in the rush as the authors and book buyers charge from opposite directions? What if you can't write like JK Rowling - will you still get published?

Bestselling author Andrew Daddo and leading Australian publisher Mark Macleod discuss the publishing process, offer you some useful advice and answer your questions.
