Myron Lysenko
Myron Lysenko has produced four books of poetry & has had over 230 poems published in various anthologies & publications in Australia, USA, England, Canada & Europe.

Myron is sometimes referred to as 'Melbourne's happy pessimist' or 'the Michael Leunig of poetry'. He earns his living by giving readings & conducting workshops around Australia. He lives in Brunswick & barracks for Essendon. Is a winner of THE AUSTRALIAN SPORTS POET AWARD.

Fun with Poetry (Yr 7, 8 and 9)
Myron will read quirky, funny poems in a variety of forms. He will give handy hints on how to write poetry, play a few word games & guide the students into creating their own poems by following, bending, or breaking the rules of poetry.
