Steven Woolman
Steven Woolman is a children's book illustrator and designer from South Australia. Some of his books include The Watertower, Caleb and Tagged, written by Gary Crew, and Dreamwalker and Wildheart, written by Isobelle Carmody. His latest work is Beneath the Surface, a sequel to the award-winning classic The Watertower.

Creating "Beneath the Surface" (Yr 10, 11 and 12)
Using original notes and sketches, Steven recounts his part in the development of Beneath the Surface, the sequel to the award-winning picture book, The Watertower. He gives valuable insights into the role of an illustrator/designer, and the processes involved in children's picture book production.
