The Stones (Yr 8, 9)
"The Stones" is the fictional recreation of a true story where
two Melbourne boys kicked rocks from a freeway overpass, killing a passing
motorist. The first half of the play is a fast, physical, funny and anarchic
series of events leading up to the fatal incident. The second half of
the play takes a dramatic turn, following the subsequent police investigation,
the boys being interrogated, charged, released on bail, the trial and
verdict.
