Nick Place is a Fitzroy-based writer with four published novels for kids, as well as an internationally recognized short film, published poetry, and a couple of decades in the media as a journalist, editor, comedy writer and who knows what. He has a dog named Fly, a Mr Potato Head collection and two teenage boys who even occasionally laugh at his jokes.
