Barry Heard is a bestselling author whose first book, Well Done Those Men, is now listed as a classic (even the U.S. White House has a copy.) Barry visits schools giving talks on the book, and over a period of eight years, has received over 100,000 emails and 30,000 letters in response to it. He has been involved with fundraising for the Hope Foundation, Fred Hollows Foundation, Oak Tree, Books for Bhutan and two orphanages in Vietnam. In 2009, he was appointed Australian Ambassador for Libraries Victoria.
