Dr Maria Pallotta-Chiarolli is Senior Lecturer in the School of Health and Social Development, Deakin University. Her research, writing and activism is primarily concerned with gender diversity, cultural diversity, sexual diversity and family diversity, and the links to social, emotional, mental and sexual health. And yes, she loves the word (and the world of) "diversity"! http://members.ozemail.com.au/~chiar/mariabooks.htm
Measuring Up/Being a Man: The Media and Masculinity (Year 10 workshop)

How do we critically engage with these representations as both media consumers and creators? In this session we will think about how the media is linked with the way boys and men "do" their masculinity.
