Elizabeth is the editor in chief of Cosmos magazine. She started her career as a research scientist and after ten years switched to writing about other scientists' stories. She has authored two popular science books: Stem Cells ( 2005) and The Genome Generation ( 2012).

There is no greater adventure than science. Every week there are breathtaking reports, like the launch of a satellite powered by a solar sail; an advance in quantum computing, translating chimpanzee accents or discovering how to make a universal blood source. Getting to tell these stories would have to be the best job in the world.
