All The Light We Cannot See
By Anthony Doerr
“ An easy, lilting narrative is paired with the darker themes of the Nazi Occupation ”
Over the break I read All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. It is becoming more and more difficult for me to stick with a book from beginning to end- time is precious and good writing is sometimes hard to pick. Doerr's novel did not disappoint. An easy, lilting narrative is paired with the darker themes of the Nazi Occupation and makes for a consuming read. The characters are believable, rich and unique and the outcomes of the plot are realistic. A just winner of the Pulitzer- in my honest opinion! I thoroughly recommend and am also happy to lend my copy, should need be!
