Legacy by Tim Cahill

Legacy by Tim Cahill

By Tim Cahill

“ This is a deeply personal story by a gentleman of the game. ”

Tim Cahill is one of the finest sporting competitors to come out of Australia.

Born in Sydney to a Samoan mother and a football fantatic father from London, the odds were against him in the early days. Cricket and rugby league were the sports you played, not soccer. Being the youngest and smallest kid on the field didn’t help either.

Tim’s tenacity, perseverance and dedication were the qualities that took him to England after he’d been rejected, dismissed and overlooked in Australia.  First stop Millwall FC, then after 2249 games and 56 goals he moved on to Everton and the rest is history. This is a deeply personal story by a gentleman of the game.
