We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves

By Karen Joy Fowler

“ Poses some interesting questions about what it is that makes us human ”

Karen Joy Fowler's novel, 'We are all completely beside ourselves' is written with a light hand but poses some interesting questions about what it is that makes us human, connects us with the rest of the animal kingdom and how families and siblings are forever inter-twined. The novel tells the story of Rosemary, a young woman determined to distance herself from her past and to recreate herself at College but in order to do this she must reconnect with her family and find her sister. This novel is highly entertaining and very easy to read. Recommended for Year 10+
