Myron Lysenko

Myron Lysenko
Myron Lysenko is one of Australia's best known performance poets. He has been writing, performing, publishing, editing and conducting poetry writing and performances since 1980. His sense of humour and passionate belief that everyone can be a poet ensures his appeal with young audiences around the country.
Workshop title: Fun with poetry (Yrs 7,8,9)
Myron will read humorous poems which look at the world in a different way. He will give handy hints on making poems and then conduct THE POETRY OLYMPICS which will involve answering easy questions and writing funny, sad or weird poems.

Workshop title: Poems for everyday life (Yrs 10,11,12)
