The Quiet American (Year 12 masterclass)
Fowler's journey to self realisation and salvation is made possible by a series of significant encounters. From the watchtower to the paddy field; from the bombing raid to the massacre of the innocents in the square, Fowler is forced to reassess his position as he undergoes a process of psychological and spiritual renewal. In this session we will embark on a close reading of key passages to illuminate our understanding of this complex character and his self deceiving narrative.

Session Times: Year 12
