Arnold Zable
Arnold Zable was born in New Zealand and grew up in Carlton. He has traveled and worked in the US, throughout Asia and Europe. He is a lecturer at Melbourne University , a regular columnist with The Age, teacher of English to migrant families. He draws upon his travels and personal experiences in his written works and workshops.
Workshop title: Painting with words (Yr 10)
How to draw upon one's experiences and observations and activate the imagination. How to move from rough draft to finished work. He also explains how to write in different styles, from journalism to fiction, and the use of diaries and journals.
