Peter Gray
Regarded by many as one of Australia's most talented performers, Peter Gray was selected from thousands of applicants as artist in residence at World Expo, Brisbane 1988. He delighted capacity crowds every day for the entire six months and was described as a "star" by Time Magazine.

Train of thoughts (Yr 9)
Old Nelligan, a former vaudeville entertainer appears in an inner urban site under a railway overpass. His daily existence is enriched by memories of his past. Refusing to succumb to old age and loneliness he gathers an audience and creates a neighbourhood show. His memories take over, a clothesline becomes a circus slack wire as he transports his audience into his imaginative world and the magical world of the circus of his youth.
