Train of thoughts (Yr 9)
Old Nelligan, a former vaudeville entertainer appears in an inner urban
site under a railway overpass. His daily existence is enriched by memories
of his past. Refusing to succumb to old age and loneliness he gathers
an audience and creates a neighbourhood show. His memories take over,
a clothesline becomes a circus slack wire as he transports his audience
into his imaginative world and the magical world of the circus of his
youth.
